Imagine learning geometry by folding and stitching your own book,

investigating biology by sketching local plants and wildlife,

or exploring fractions by drumming different time signatures.

You’re imagining the deep and engaging power of arts in education.

South Central PaARTners places skilled teaching artists in meaningful, in-depth residencies in K-12 public schools, senior centers, and community organizations throughout Berks, Lancaster, and Schuylkill Counties.

Our residents come from a variety of backgrounds and include writers, dancers, theater practitioners, musicians, storytellers, painters, sculptors, book artists, and more.
